Antrim Hills

After a very long hiatus while I was in secondary school, during which time I must have thought I was ‘too cool’ for birding and bird photography, I have finally come to my senses and picked up the camera again. What better way to restart than with a trip to the Antrim hills in search of Hen Harriers? In general, birds were scarce but the trip was not in vain as I was lucky enough to be standing in just the right place as two of the target species flew overhead. I will attach some photos below of the Harriers and some other birds, including Wheatear and Skylark. I was a little rusty but with some practice I’m sure it will come flooding back soon enough.
