Floodgates/Pattons Marsh

On 21st September 2014 I went to the floodgates in Newtownards and walked to Patton's Marsh. I saw 2 ravens, 2 wheatear and a reed bunting. Here are the photos.

Today I went to Kinnegar where I saw a Curlew, Godwits and Redshank. RSPB Belfast Lough had Common Terns and Shelduck. Here are some photos.

Scrabo/floodgates

Today I went to Scrabo and the floodgates in Newtownards. I saw 2 ravens, lots of house martins and a marbled white butterfly at Scrabo. At the floodgates there were lapwing, redshank, turnstone and a kestrel. Here are some photos.

Last week I went on holiday to Portugal. I saw lots of birds and butterflies near our apartment including Kestrel, Peregrine, Woodchat Shrike, Sardinian Warbler, Azure-Winged Magpie, Yellow-Legged Gull, Spanish Sparrow, Serin, Alpine Swift plus Southern Gatekeeper, Wall Brown and Small Blue Butterfly.
