Algender Gorge

On Monday 17th August I went to Algender Gorge near Cala Galdana. I saw birds such as Egyptian Vultures, Booted Eagle, Woodchat Shrike, Cetti's Warbler, Sardinian Warbler and the ever present Spotted Flycatcher. Insects included Hummingbird Hawkmoths and Holly Blue Butterflies.

S'albufera d'es Grau

On Wednesday 19th August I went to d'es Grau natural park. I saw lots of birds including Osprey, Peregrine, Red Kites, Booted Eagles, Ravens, Turtle Dove, Sardinian Warblers, Spotted Flycatchers, Little Egrets, Little Grebes, Coot and Great-Crested Grebes. There was also Black-Tailed Skimmers, Broad Scarlet and Red-Veined Darter dragonflies, Blue-tailed damselflies, Italian wall lizards and Red-winged grasshopper.

Oxford Island

On Wednesday I went to Oxford Island and saw Swallows, Chiffchaffs, House martins, Great-Crested Grebes, Sedge Warblers and Reed Warblers!!!
