Belfast WOW/ Kinnegar

Today I visited the Belfast WOW and went to Kinnegar. I saw birds including: a Common Sandpiper, lots of Common Terns, Moorhens, Greenfinches, Goldfinches, a Grey Heron and a Buzzard. Here are the best photos.

Copeland Islands

Today I went on a boat trip around the Copeland Islands off the coast of Co. Down. There was lots of bird life on the Islands including Puffins, Manx Shearwater, Black Guillemots, Fulmar and lots of Gulls. There was also a large colony of Grey Seal.

Ballyhornan/Killard Point

On Monday 11th July I visited Ballyhornan and Killard Point nature reserve in Co. Down. I saw a vast range of different birds including, Gannet, Sand Martins, Swallows, Skylarks, Meadow and Rock Pipits, a Kestrel, 2 Buzzards, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers, Wheatears and Stonechats. There were also a few Common and Grey seals.
